Welcome to this Yin Yoga Class for back pain, muscle knots, neck pain & headaches. During this yin yoga sequence we will be focusing on opening up the shoulders with yoga asanas like puppy pose, releasing the lumbar spine (lower back) with supported back bending yoga poses like bridge, as well as releasing spinal and neck tension with gentle yoga twists.
This class is suitable for everyone (yoga for beginners). Helping to gently and mindfully relieve symptoms like lower back pain, upper thoracic back pain, neck and head pain, and cultivate a general sense of health and well being, creating inner peace and relaxation through conscious pranayama breath.
Wear something comfortable if you don’t own any yoga wear, and make sure you’re practicing on a soft, non slip surface like a carpet if you don’t yet own a yoga mat.
