This is Session 1 of our 10-class Yin Yoga program for lower back pain relief. Designed for those days when your back pain is at its strongest, this gentle practice focuses on restorative poses, most of which are done lying down. We begin in Child’s Pose—a calming posture that helps release tension in the lower back and hips—and move through supportive stretches before ending with a 5-minute Savasana.
Props like a bolster, blanket, or blocks are encouraged to make the poses as comfortable and accessible as possible.
This session is perfect for easing back pain, calming the nervous system, and supporting your body in a gentle, non-straining way. Remember to listen to your body, take it slow, and be kind to yourself.
